Effect of Using Physics Education Technology (PhET) Simulation Media to Enhance Students’ Motivation and Problem-Solving Skills in Learning Physics

One of the demands 21st-century skills is problem-solving skills, to have good solving one must learning success factors, such as motivation. In fact, from results observations and interviews conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Darul Makmur, it was found that motivation students were still low. The purpose this research for investigating effect using Physics Education Technology (PhET) simulation media enhance students’ in physic. This used a quasi-experiment quantitative approach with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. population Grade XII MIA many 57 students. There 50 taken by random sampling. instrument questioned form an essay questionnaire Likert scale. data analyzed average test, N-gain, independent-sample t-test. result showed score study experiment class high categorize control low categorize, while N-gain skill medium categorize.
